Abort, Abort!

Our latest adventure didn't go so well. Brenda came down with a cold last week, and Cam caught it on Thursday. Friday night we stayed in, but Saturday morning we ignored the cries of our weary bodies and bravely ventured up to Lake Cowichan for a weekend of camping.

We had a pleasant day by the water on Saturday, but there wasn't much to do where we were (Gordon Bay Provincial Park). Things went downhill at night, we should've listened to our bodies. Brenda endured a horrible night of listening to Cam cough for hours only to be greeted by pouring rain in the morning.

Sunday morning we tucked our tails between our legs and headed home. Not the best of adventures, but sometimes you should really just stay home and watch movies.
