Dragonette

Still exhausted from our trip to Ontario, we emerged from a wonderful Wednesday night nap and headed out to Sugar to check out the Dragonette show. Despite our low-energy levels, it was a thoroughly enjoyable concert. The club was full and the crowd in the front was really digging it. The band went through most of their material off Galore, and mixed in some INXS much to the crowd's delight. Brenda, who was not very familiar the band, is definitely a new fan.

Joel, the drummer, is a familiar face from some silly nights out with the girls of 1047 Bathurst. Unfortunately we were so spent, Brenda and I cleared out of the bar the moment the band finished their set, so we didn't get a chance to say 'hello'.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see us in Toronto, Hamilton and Barrie last week. We had a great time and we'll hope to see you again in the summer!
